Swedish massage produces therapeutic effects on the circulatory, respiratory, nervous, and lymphatic systems. Deep Tissue, Myofascial, NMT, and Medical Massage
Deep tissue, also know as myofascial, is a technique that adresses the relationship between the muscular and connective tissues using various methods that elongate and alter the fascia layer, increasing range of motion and pain free mobility, as well as releasing trigger points (often called 'knots') within the muscle itself. This deep but painless work requires extra time to warm up the tissue while slowly reshaping it, breaking up scar tissue (adhesions), and releasing trigger points. Swedish techniques are also incorporated and every massage is tailored to meet the needs of the individual. This work is highly recommended to rehabilitate an injury or to alleviate chronic pain.
